Day 2

 I've decided to give the Keto Diet a try. I was shocked to see my weight on the scale has grown to 375 lbs. That is too much by anybodies standard. 

After a month and a half of not drinking alcohol I don't think I've lost any weight. I'm going to continue abstaining from alcohol during this diet. 

The diet is said to be very restrictive. I can see it will be hard to eat out at most restaurants. That's ok since I usually bring things to eat when I go out and do comedy. 

So far there have been minimal side effects. I have been having very loose stool. Today after eating breakfast I am sweating. I had bacon, Greek yogurt, eggs with spinach, mushrooms and cheese and an avocado. It was pretty tasty and I feel full. 

I ate 2 lettuce Double Doubles at In and Out last night instead of a burger with buns. It was ok but nothing like the real thing. 

 My first goal with this project will be to see if I can get myself into Ketosis. I ordered some strips to pee on from Amazon. They should be here Thursday. I read that it takes 2-4 days to get into ketosis so well see if I can do it by then. 

I'll also continue exercising by walking around the trails here at Avanti and doing kettle bell workouts. The other thing I should do is begin relaxing and meditating so I can reduce my stress.
